A self-described “multi-hyphenate,” Chukundi aka Kun Luv grew up in the central area of Seattle and attended Garfield High School. He is a former political candidate, a civil servant, a community activist, an author, an entrepreneur, an environmentalist, volunteer and much more.

Given the name DJ Kun Luv while attending Elizabeth City State University (a North Carolina HBCU) and DJing the “GYM JAMS,” Chukundi has gone on to perform at events around the world. Known for his ability to connect with a crowd, he has been one of the premier party rockers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond for over 25 years. In the 90s, he served as NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton’s official DJ while selling mixed tapes across the country including the legendary music store Earwax in Atlanta.

Luv has shared the stage with music greats from Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight to Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, and is a regular in the Seattle area. He is often tapped to perform at corporate and company events, and maintains a client list that includes Microsoft, Boeing, The Urban League, Verizon, AT&T and more.

He has served as a brand ambassador for many local and international companies including his own clothing brand that was carried in Macy’s for a period of time. As an official “Cîroc Boy” DJ, he worked for Diageo and Blue Flame Marketing to promote CIROC Vodka across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Outside of his DJ work, Luv is the founder of Service is a Lifestyle, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. He is also a 25-year employee at Seattle Parks and Recreation.

Madman Across the Water: Tribute to Elton John

Madman Across The Water - The Music of Elton John is a new project from Seattle-based artist Andrew Vait (SISTERS, The Little Lies).

The project is built on the energy and momentum of Vait's Fleetwood Mac tribute, The Little Lies, and faithful to the mythos of Elton John.

Vait carefully chose the words to describe the project, emphasizing that the focus is on interpreting and upholding the unrivaled craftsmanship in songwriting and stage performance that threads through Elton John’s legacy.

“Madman Across The Water” honors the music of Elton John and is dedicated to the memory of Vait’s mother who died in September of 2022 after a battle with cancer. Vait recalls listening to Elton John with his mom: “We would listen together and she would sing along while I learned the words.” The music instilled in Vait a deep sense of empathy and softness that has profoundly influenced his career as a performer and recording artist.

Vait describes a dream he had as a child shortly after beginning piano lessons, where he could move his hands across the keyboard and the sounds of Elton John would come gliding out. “It was as simple as flying," Vait muses. In a sense, this project is a dream come true for Vait.

DJ Rojito
DJ Rojito is a Seattle-based Latin DJ with a diverse sound. Born in Silver Springs, Maryland, Rojito was thrust into a popping east coast music scene. Rojito was born from an immigrant family (Dominican) and an American family of musical diversity. It was here he was able to hear and develop sounds that others simply could not, allowing him to have a different vibe.

Being the son of a military man also gave Rojito the opportunity to move to different regions and allowed him to develop a diverse palate in music. Coming from the northeast, Rojito was always fascinated with music, so he bought his first console and has been at it ever since.

DJing in locations in NYC, Allentown, Destin and Orlando, he is now performing in the Seattle area, with residency at the Night Owl in Tacoma and the Golden Fleece in Everett. Rojito also rotates at Club SUR and other locations in the Pacific Northwest. His focus is to read the crowd and let people hear a different vibe that they will not hear from any other DJ. El único.

Alonzo Bodden

Alonzo’s comedy career started as a doorman at the Hollywood Laugh Factory. Since then, he’s done alright. His story is featured in the documentary "Right to Offend: The Black Comedy Revolution."

A regular panel member on NPR’s "Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me!" and host of the "Wait Wait Live Comedy Tour," Alonzo Bodden has been making audiences around the country laugh for more than 20 years.

The title of his latest special produced by Helium Comedy and released on YouTube is “ Stupid Don’t Get Tired” where he points out stupidity on the micro and macro level in life.

In his stand-up special, "Heavy Lightweight," he goes from heavy topics like slavery, politics and the #MeToo movement, to lightweight topics such as millennials, yoga pants and Taco Bell. He likes to mix it up and hopes that audiences will join him for a laugh and a think or two.

His first big comedy break came when he was on the “New Faces of Comedy” showcase at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, but it was as the season three winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," where Alonzo was first introduced to America.

Since then, he has starred in two comedy specials for Showtime: "Historically Incorrect" and "Who’s Paying Attention." His most recent TV appearance was on the CBS sitcom “Ghosts." He’s also made appearances on ABC’s "Dr. Ken" and "Fresh Off the Boat," "Dr. Phil," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O’Brien" and "Californication."

He hosted the live touring version of Family Feud, the Just For Laughs comedy awards show and Just For Laughs Bermuda and is the resident comic for the LA Press Club Dinners.

The Tulalip Resort Casino ONE club desk is located near the casino main entrance next to Killer Coffee. If you’re at the main entrance, it is the large oval desk with a ONE club logo spinning in the middle. Ticket sales occur on the far side closer to Journeys East. Ticket sales are open daily 10AM – 10PM.

The Quil Ceda Creek Casino ONE club desk is located to the left when entering the main entrance. Ticket sales are open daily 10AM – 10PM.

Terms of Purchase: No service fee when purchased directly at Tulalip Resort Casino or Quil Ceda Creek Casino. Must be 21+ for all shows. No refunds or exchanges. If tickets are purchased from a third-party such as Ticketmaster, those terms will apply.
